Ronald Edward Beal

Ronald “Ronnie” Edward Beal, 81, of Newton, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, at Park Centre.  No services are scheduled at this time.

Ronald, the son of Ray and Rosetta (Whited) Beal, Jr., was born Nov. 11, 1939, in Maxwell. He grew up in the Maxwell area. On Aug. 8, 1970, Ronald was united in marriage with Carolyn Young in Collins. They lived for a short time in Nevada before making their home in Newton. Ronald worked for the Maytag Company for 32 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the UAW Local 997.

Ronald is survived by his son, Denny (Rhonda) Beal of Newton; four grandchildren, Chyanna (Donald) Sudbrock, Thomas Rudolph, Jonathon Rudolph and Kyle Rudolph; her great-grandson, Michael Sudbrock; and his brother, Richard (Jean) Beal of Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn Beal; step-son, Gerald Owen; and brother, Fred Beal.
