Virginia Ruth Richey

Virginia Ruth Richey, 75, of Newton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, of complications related to Covid 19.

Born July 12 1945, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marie Davis of Brazil, Ind.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Lisa Sydney and Jeri Richey; sister, Dorothy McArthur; grandson, Cameron Blazek and wife S Jael Blazek and great-grandchildren Prairie, Happie, Promise, Hosanna and Elmo Moses; grandson, Chase Blazek and wife Madeline Blazek, granddaughter Ciara Blazek and granddaughter Madison Wallace; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

As per Virginia’s wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes will be spread near her childhood home in Indiana, in a private memorial service with only her immediate family present. No public services will be held.
