Theresa M. Clark went home to be with her Savior Wednesday evening, Nov. 11, 2020, while at her residence.

Theresa M. Clark, 92, was born March 20, 1928, at her parents’ home in Warren County. The daughter of Robert A. and Barbara T. (McElwee) McNeer. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1945. She was employed by the Skiff Hospital OB Department for 25 years, known by many as the “Baby Lady.”

On Jan. 1, 1949, she was united in marriage with William L. Clark in Newton. She was a very giving, gentle and sweet woman. She devoted her life to her children and family. She enjoyed many winters in Arizona with William and loved working in her flower gardens to bring beauty into the world. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Newton Community Theater.

Theresa is survived by her children, William L. (Linette) Clark Jr., Daniel L. (Tami) Clark, Timothy A. (Amy) Clark, Judy M. (Rick) Ogle and Barbara F. (Mark) Warren; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her two brothers; and many good neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William in 1998; a daughter, Mary K. Sholley; a grandson; two brothers; and two sisters. She would always write “Love, Kisses and Prayers — Mother” on her notes to others and say, “I Love You All!”

A private (family only) visitation and funeral mass for Theresa will be Wednesday, Nov. 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton, Father Tony Herold officiating. A broadcast of Theresa’s service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 on the Pence-Reese Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook page. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery. The Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton, has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, MercyOne Hospice or a charity of your choosing. Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, facemasks are required.
