SULLY — Seniors Korinne Jansen and Cayler Noun Harder had double-doubles, five different players had at least three kills and Lynnville-Sully's volleyball team swept Sigourney on Thursday night.
The Hawks remained undefeated after the South Iowa Cedar League victory. L-S rolled to a 25-9, 25-13, 25-20 win. Sigourney dropped to 2-6 overall and 0-1 in the conference after the loss.
Jansen finished with 10 kills and 10 digs, Noun Harder dished out 24 assists, had 10 digs and put down three kills and senior Krystal Van Dyke tallied seven kills, five blocks and four digs in the win.
Senior Cally Gibbs totaled five kills, five digs and two aces and senior Denali Conover chipped in four kills and eight digs. Senior Jaden Braden finished with 10 digs and three aces and junior Aliya James pitched in four digs.
The Hawks (5-0 overall, 2-0 in the SICL) were 65-of-69 in serves, led by Brand's 15-of-15 and Jansen's 14-of-14. Noun Harder was 12-of-13, Van Dyke served 9-of-10, Gibbs was 7-of-8 and Conover finished 6-of-7.
L-S hosts North Mahaska (1-1, 1-0) for another SICL match at 7 p.m. on Monday in Sully.
