Keith Howard Hefley, 75, of Willow Springs, Mo., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at his home. Keith was born June 19, 1943, in Sioux City, to Max and Gwendolyn (Gearhart) Hefley.
He lived most of his life in Newton, and graduated from Newton High School in 1961. He worked as an electrician, retiring from the Maytag Corporation after 30 years. Keith enjoyed playing golf, wood carving, working on his land and spending time with his family. He was an extremely loving father, grandfather and a friend to all.
Keith is survived by three daughters, Angela Peters of Willow Springs, Mo., Amy (Tim) Mahl of Newton and Aubra (Adam) Barrier of Peoria, Ariz.; son, Aaron (Leah) Hefley of Des Moines; sister, Irene (Jim) Addy of Windsor Heights; aunt, Beverley (Don) Bury of Baxter; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Gwendolyn; one brother, Robert Hefley; and two sisters, Joan and Maxine.
