Applications are being accepted for the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition. The competition is open to current DMACC students or DMACC alumni (completed twelve credit hours or more) who are operating a business in Iowa. The deadline to submit an application is by 4 p.m. May 11.

This is the fifth year of the DMACC Foundation Entrepreneurship Competition. Previous winners include: 2017 Colton Sleister, owner of Sleister Brass; 2016 Dylan Book, owner of Big Deal Car Care of Adel; 2016 Kelsi Ziemann, CEO & Founder of Kelsi Ziemann Artistry of Des Moines.
The winner of the DMACC Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition will be announced at the DMACC Small Business Awards dinner Sept. 13.
The award is made possible by a generous gift to the DMACC Foundation by an anonymous donor.
