Terry Lee Mann

Terry Lee Mann, 59, of Newton, died Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorials in Terry’s name maybe left at the funeral home.

Terry, the son of Grant E. and Ruby Imogene (Sharp) Mann, was born Jan. 22, 1958, in Paducah, Ky. He grew up in a military family and lived in many places growing up. Terry was united in marriage with Donna Eilander in May of 1977, in Baxter. They made their home mainly between Arizona and Iowa, while in Iowa they lived many years in both Eldora and Newton. Terry worked in the HVAC business for more than 30 years. He had a great entrepreneurship mind and enjoyed brainstorming business ideas. He had also liked to tinker on cars and around the house. Most of all he loved spending time with friends and family.

Terry is survived by his wife, Donna of Newton; two daughters, Sandra Mann of Johnston and Maranda Mann (Patrick Steven) of Urbandale; his two grandchildren, Adrian and Tatum; and siblings, Mike (Wanda) Mann of Arizona, Cindy Mann of Oregon and Pat Mann. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Rick Mann.
