Elite Moving Services celebrating one year

Elite Moving Services is celebrating its first year in business and business couldn’t be better. Owners Nick Bates and Emily Romick are still ready to make your move easy and stress-free and now have a year of experience, as well.

“Our first year had been such a great experience,” Romick said. “We are constantly learning new ways to make each move goes as smooth and stress-free as possible.”

The business continues to offer services including loading and unloading any rental truck, packing and unpacking, personal moves and cleaning services both locally and in central Iowa. The company also assists with special moves for items such as pianos, pool tables or other heavy items.

“We still are offering the traditional residential move within Iowa, from home to home or wherever our clients are moving in and out of,” Romick said. “We do however offer small moves too. Meaning if you need furniture from room to room or if a client is needing their baby grand piano moved down the street or to another town we are your trusted movers to call.”

Romick said since they have only been in business for a year, not a lot has changed. The duo does continue to learn and grow in the business, recently becoming members of the Newton Area Chamber of Commerce and expanding their website.

“We are very excited to be able to meet with other local business owners,” Romick said.

To better assist customers with their moves, Elite has continued to grow and add new equipment to make sure their crews are able to service every client to the fullest. It’s newest piece is a 16-foot moving truck added to their fleet.

Customers of Elite have had nothing but positive feedback to give about their experiences. Comments include “Nick and Emily’s team were first class. One of the hardest working teams I have seen. They also handed my belongings with care and I highly recommend them and assure you that it is the right decision” and “Very professional, they know what they are doing and had wrapped everything appropriately, gathered all items and then packed the truck very efficiently.”

“We have met some amazing people throughout this past year that has supported us and truly believe in our business,” Romick said.
