Ruhnke new Jasper County Clerk of Court

Beginning Tuesday, Kelly Ruhnke will take over for retiring Carol Sage as Clerk of Court for Jasper and Marion counties. Sage’s last day was Monday.

Sage had worked for the state of Iowa for 32 years, the past eight in Jasper and Marion Counties. Ruhnke is leaving her position as trial court supervisor after being appointed to the clerk position by district judges. She has worked for the county for the past 20 years.

Clerk of Court responsibilities include but are not limited to managing and maintaining all trial records, record storage, preparing and reviewing preparation of all administrative and statistical reports and budget responsibilities.
