Bowlful of Blues a double hit of great music

Beautiful weather over the weekend graced the 20th annual South Skunk Blues Society’s Bowlful of Blues at Maytag Park. The first two-day event in the Bowlful’s history was well-attended by an appreciative crowd. Top: The Chicago Ryhthm & Blues Kings closed out the Sunday show with a mix of smoking hot instrumentals and R&B vocals. Above left: Lurrie Bell closed out the Saturday show with more hot Chicago blues. Above right: Grady Champion was a crowd favorite Saturday with his harmonica prowess.
