George, DeZwarte united in marriage

Mallory George of Grand Junction, Colo., and Ryan DeZwarte of Newton were united in marriage on Sept. 3, 2011, at Amy’s Courtyard in Palisade, Colo.

Tarrin George, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Allison Strong, friend of bride, and Ashley DeZwarte, sister of groom.

Lance Richards, friend of groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Peter Ochoa, friend of groom, and Paul Rothman, friend of groom.

Ushers were Baily Purdy, cousin of groom, and Levi DeZwarte, cousin of groom

A reception was at Amy’s Courtyard in Palisade, Colo.

Mallory is the daughter of Donald and Myssi George and Steve and Janice Davis of Grand Junction, Colo. She graduated from Grand Junction High School in Grand Junction, Colo., in 2006 and from Drake University in 2010. She is employed as a senior marketing communications specialist at Ruan Transportation Management Systems in Des Moines.

Ryan is the son of Brent and Denise
DeZwarte of Newton. He graduated from Newton Senior High School in Newton in 2005 and from Drake University in Des Moines in 2009. He is engaged in farming east of Newton and is a financial consultant at LPL Financial.

The couple resides in Kellogg.
