Bosma, Groh to wed

Scott Bosma of Newton announces the engagement of his daughter, Dr. Jamie Lynn Bosma of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., to Dr. John Suydam Groh of Port St. Lucie, Fla., the son of James Harold Groh Sr. and Ruth Suydam Groh of Hilton Head Island, S.C.

The wedding is set for May 26, 2012, on the 18th Lawn of Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, S.C.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Newton Senior High School, a 2005 graduate of Augustana College and a 2009 graduate of Des Moines University Medical School. She is a dual internal medicine and dermatology resident at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla., where she is currently the associate chief resident. She is also the daughter of the late Nancy (Nebergall) Bosma.

The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Hilton Head Prep, a 2007 graduate of Furman University and a 2011 graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Georgia. He is an emergency medicine resident at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
