Punches Family featured at Bar None Cowboy Church

The Punches Family will be the featured group at the Bar None Cowboy Church this week at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Jasper County Fairgrounds.

The Punches Family, an award winning group that has been singing together for five years, is from Fredericktown, Mo. Each member contributes vocally and instrumentally to the unique blend of bluegrass gospel music that appeals to a variety of audiences. The family performs at a variety of venues including bluegrass festivals, fairgrounds, churches and private business events.

The Punches Family won first place in Silver Dollar City’s Youth & Bluegrass band contest in 2007 and SPBGMA’s Entertaining Group of the Year in 2010 and 2011. The family also was nominated for Contemporary Group of the Year in 2009 and Gospel Band of the Year in 2010.
