Jackson, Kuiper to wed

Stacy Jackson and Nicholas Kuiper, both of Grinnell, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at the Scottish Rite Consistory in Des Moines.

Stacy is the daughter of Barb Jackson of Newton and Randy Jackson of Polk City. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Allen College and is a registered nurse for the Newton Community School District.

Nicholas is the son of Jerry Kuiper of Sheldon and Judy Kuiper of Sheldon. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Briar Cliff University and attended medical school at the Des Moines University. He is completing his general surgery residency at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines and is a general surgeon at Surgical Associates in Grinnell.
