Vicky K. Lund

Vicky K. Lund, 55, of Newton died on Monday, April 19, 2010, at the Newton Health Care Center in Newton.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials in Vicky’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Lund of Newton; daughter, Genie (John) Thompson of Grinnell; her five grandchildren, Destiny, Hailey, Jessica, Zoey and Johnelle Thompson; four brothers, Jerry (Barb) Sanders, Bud (Wilma) Hansen, Eugene (Ann) Hansen and Richard (Marsha) Hansen all of Newton; sister-in-law, Peggy Sanders of Reasnor; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eric G. Lund, in 1998; and her brother, Tommy Sanders Sr.
