Louise Warnick

Louise A. Warnick, the daughter of Albert and Ethel Anderson McGruder, was born March 1, 1944, in Sterling, Colo.  Lou loved her family.  She enjoyed her grandchildren’s sporting events, shopping with her daughter and granddaughter, taking car rides, girls night out with her friends and cooking and baking. Lou had retired as a manager from Capstone and worked as a receptionist at Dr. Martin’s office. Louise passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at the Monarch Wing at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.  She was 64 years old.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin Warnick, and her special friend, Curtis Petersen. Those left to honor Louise’s memory include her daughter, Dixie (Jim) Epp of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Whitney Epp and Jake Epp; her extended family, Dan and Pat Epp, Tom Epp, Danielle Epp, Todd and Renae Epp, Sidney Epp, Macy Epp; the Curtis Petersen family; and her many friends.  A very special thank you to her dearest friends, Joyce Avery, Diane Huetter, Wilma Mott, Bonnie and Glenn Jontz and Hospice of Jasper County. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Dec 1, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be designated in her name.*
