Jeff Rankin

Jeffrey H. Rankin, 52, of Reasnor passed away Tuesday morning at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella. Jeff leaves his wife, Kathryn K. (Madson) Rankin; their five children, Krista Rankin of Waukee, Rachel Muthomi of Ames, Jonathan Rankin of Des Moines and Sarah and Jenny Rankin, both at home; his parents, Richard and Karen (Hoagland) Rankin; a brother, James Rankin; and two sisters:  Peggy Richter and Lisa Ver Ploeg. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Third Reformed Church in Pella. A fellowship time will follow the service at the church. Private interment will be made in St. Andrew’s Cemetery near Galesburg.  Visitation will begin Friday morning at Van Dyk- Duven Funeral Home, where the family will be present Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. It is the family’s wish that memorials be given for St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church near Galesburg or the Hospice of Pella Comfort House.*
