Carl R. Anderson

Carl R. Anderson, 72, of Newton, died Friday, May 18 at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Newton with the Pastor Carrie LaPlante officiating. Burial will be at the Palo Alto Cemetery in rural Newton. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Memorials to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church may be left at the church on the morning of the service or at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Judy; a son Mark (Nan) Anderson of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Nichols and Dorothy Failor, both of Newton; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Anderson of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.*
