Mike and Michaela Gunsaulus of Newton are the parents of a son, Madden Noah Gunsaulus, born Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Madden weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Randy and Vicki Gunsaulus of Newton, Susan DeSotel of Cedar Rapids and Gary DeSotel of Cedar Rapids.

Great-grandparents are Hazel VanEkeren of Colfax, John and Janet Gunsaulus of Colfax and Ken and Marlene Millsap of Cedar Rapids.
