NDC honoring local businesses

Special to Daily News The Business Development Committee of the Newton Development Corporation (NDC) will be hosting a Salute to Business and Industry Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 9 at the SODEXHO Conference Center, 600 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton. A buffet lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until noon followed by the program from noon to 1 p.m. Steve Lockard, president and CEO of TPI Composites will give the keynote address. Following his remarks, a new business and an existing business will be recognized for their investments in the Newton community.
