Congressman Dave Loebsack’s bipartisan work in congress is helping Newton’s economy.
His SECTORS Act was passed on a bipartisan basis as part of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and will further efforts to build a skilled workforce in Newton.
Dave has also fought to the protect renewable energy jobs that drive Newton’s economy: he worked across the aisle to introduce the Bridge to a Clean Energy Future Act of 2014 to extend tax credits for the wind industry and he has lead the fight against cuts in the Renewable Fuels Standard.
Promoting jobs, the economy and bipartisanship are why Dave has earned my vote this November.
