Critchfield has what it takes

I worked in the county recorder’s office for a summer during college. I developed an appreciation for the work being done on behalf of Jasper County residents. As a teacher, I am always focused on learning and the overall take-away from any new endeavor. It didn’t take me long to figure out that in order to make the recorder’s office run successfully, the recorder has to be someone who can lead and manage effectively. Many of us have already seen that in Marshall Critchfield.

Marshall has proven his resourcefulness in every new challenge he has accepted. His education and professional background is perfect for the recorder’s office and he has proven himself to be a quick-study. In consideration of his run for this office, he has met with a representative from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to discuss boat registrations and has even attended a seminar put on by Iowa Land Records. He already knows exactly how real estate professionals provide electronic documentation to county recorders. This is direct evidence of the scholarly approach Marshall takes toward new experiences.

Critchfield is driven by success and will know precisely how to make the best use of the veteran staff currently working in the recorder’s office. He has made friends with other county recorders and is already aware of the vast number of resources available from the state of Iowa. Jasper County taxpayers deserve a working recorder who will represent them well. Please join me in voting for Marshall Critchfield as our next Jasper County Recorder.
