Newton Library hosting fall activities, tech assistance

The Newton Public Library will be closed on Wednesday for staff training

Wilbor or Freegal asking you for a PIN?

Logging into Wilbor, Freegal and our library will now require your PIN (as well as Freegal and the catalog).Your PIN right now is CHANGEME (one word, all caps) and you will want to do 2 things at some point: Log into the library catalog using your library card and CHANGEME as the default PIN. Immediately go to My Account, choose User PIN Change, and choose another PIN for yourself (4-8 characters).
Before you log out, go to Email Change Request and add your email address to your account. That way, if you ever forget your PIN you will be able to change it 24/7 without our assistance. We're instituting this added security in anticipation of upgrading the catalog for bill paying online in the near future. If you have any problems with this process, please call the library at 641-792-4108.

Need help downloading an e-book to your tablet?

Stop by the library on Saturday to see Nicole at the Information Desk. She can help you download an e-book or audiobook on your tablet or mobile phone and answer any questions you may have regarding Wilbor or Overdrive Media Console.
