• The 2014 Newton Senior High School Homecoming King and Queen coronation ceremony be from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. Thursday inside the NHS upper gym.
• The homecoming parade will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, and 1947 NHS graduate Avery Wilson will serve as grand marshal.
• A pep rally will take place on the Newton square immediately following the parade and will feature a taco feed from the NHS Athletic Booster Club.
• A pep assembly will take place at 11:15 a.m. Friday inside the NHS upper gym.
• At 7:30 p.m. Friday at H.A. Lynn Stadium, the Cardinals will face the Benton Bobcats for the football game.
• From 8:45 to 11:45 p.m. Saturday, the homecoming dance will be in the NHS lower gym.
