• A 17-year-old juvenile is charged with second class criminal mischief after authorities were called to 1215 S. 16th Ave. W. at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. Officers spoke to the victim who stated she gave the juvenile a ride home because he had been drinking when they got in a verbal fight. The juvenile then allegedly began punching and kicking the victim’s windshield and poured alcohol on the victim and her car. After the juvenile was dropped off, he allegedly threw a rock at the right rear window breaking it. The damage to the car is approximately $1,433.82. The juvenile was cited and released to appear.

• Samantha L. Brown, 29, of Fairfield, was charged with criminal trespass at the police department at 3 p.m. Thursday. On July 26, officers were called to #113 at Park Centre after numerous witnesses saw Brown enter the apartment with children. The resident of the apartment had his daughter visiting and said that someone had gone through it and taken $45. Brown had no reason to be inside the apartment. She was cited and released to appear.
