The Jasper County Conservation Board will be hosting its monthly Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors program. The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and continue learning about our natural world.
This month’s program will be a garden grill out at Maytag Park. The group will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 10 at the Kiwanis Shelter to discuss creative ways to use your garden produce. In case of inclement weather, the program will be at the JCC office at 1030 W. Second St. S., next to Maytag Park.
