Lucille A. Fane

Lucille A. (Gearhart) Fane, 93, of Newton died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League and Humane Society may be left at the funeral home.

Those left to honor Lucille’s memory are her children, Barb Brady of Clive, Linda (Denny) Wells of Newton and Patty Graham of Pinetop, Ariz.; her daughter-in-law, Sharon Fane of Newton; six grandchildren, Tonja (Dana) Knutson, Angie Wells, Doug Fane, Jodi Fane Versteegh, Megan (Phil) Lewkowicz and Spencer Graham; and her four great-grandchildren, Hunter Versteegh, Halli Versteegh, Madison Lewkowicz and Noelle Lewkowicz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carroll; son, Danny; and son-in-law, James Brady.
