Newton Head Start announces income eligibility guidelines for free, reduced price meals

Newton Head Start has announced its sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Meals are provided without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. Income eligibility guidelines for free or reduced meals are as follows (listed according household size and annual income):

Reduced price meals

• 1 — $21,590

• 2 — $29,101

• 3 — $36,612

• 4 — $44,123

• 5 — $51,634

• 6 — $59,145

• 7 — $66,656

• 8 — $74,167

Add $7,511 for each additional family member.

Free meals

• 1 — $15,171

• 2 — $20,449

• 3 — $25,727

• 4 — $31,005

• 5 — $36,283

• 6 — $41,561

• 7 — $46,839

• 8 — $52,117

Add $5,278 for each additional family member.
