The Newton AKTION Club is hosting a car wash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hy-Vee Gas parking lot, 1501 First Ave. E. in Newton.
The car wash serves as a fundraising activity for the AKTION Club and will benefit numerous local charities and nonprofits the AKTION Club assists each year. Donations will be accepted for an exterior car wash and dry.
