To the editor:
I have spent more time this summer in our parks than most other years. Many of us drive by but do not experience our parks. Our office recently held a large event at Maytag Park. We used nearly the entire park, including the bowl. The park staff was excellent to work with, and the bowl restoration exceeded all my expectations. I had not checked it out up close. We should all be proud of this great community asset.
