Newton Main Street will host a social hour from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the First Ave. Speakeasy, 109 First Ave. W. in Newton.
The event is set up to give locals the opportunity to learn more about Newton Main Street, meet fellow volunteers and get involved in the project.
The social hour is open to the public.
