The Jasper County Conservation Board will be hosting a series of cooking classes for children ages 10 to 14 called Pioneer Cooking Days from July 35 to 25.
Cost is $5 per person. Register for the classes by contacting the office.
Participants will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Kiwanis shelter, located inside Maytag Park. On July 23, the group will learn to cook wild edibles. On July 24, participants will be learn to cook wild game; and on July 25, participants will cook critters.
All are invited to come out and taste these delicious items.
