Wyatt Sterling stands inside a bubble at “Ben’s Bubble Show” at the Newton Public Library on Tuesday. The program was a part of the “Fizz, Boom, Read” Summer Reading Program for children. Ben Jimenez is a bubbleologist from Evanston, Ill.,  and demonstrated smoke bubbles, geometric bubbles, giant bubbles and bubbles inside of bubbles. The library’s next special program for children is the Dino O’Dell concert at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the library meeting room. No registration is required. Children may still sign up for the Summer Reading Program, which runs through July 31. Children who meet their reading goal will receive a ticket to a free Domino’s pizza and pool party on Aug. 1 at Maytag Pool, two tickets to the Iowa Cubs Homerun Reader game and a ticket for a child’s free admission to the Blank Park Zoo.
