Inclement weather strikes again. The rain, snow and cold temperatures have forced postponements and cancellations of some high school sporting events slated for today.
Newton’s girls were to have played varsity golf in the Urbandale Invitational and junior varsity golf at West Des Moines Valley. Those have been cancelled.
CMB moved its coed track meet from this afternoon to Tuesday, starting at 4:30 p.m. with field events at Baxter. CMB’s home girls soccer game against Gilbert has been moved to April 28.
