Ola F. Horney

Ola F. Horney, 90, of Newton died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Park Centre Care Center in Newton. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association — Greater Iowa Chapter or Wesley Life Hospice may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home.

Those left to honor Ola’s memory are her sons, David Horney and Rickie (Chris) Horney, both of Marshalltown; daughters, Vickie (Phillip) Grommet of Marshalltown and Violet (Gary) Peterson of Newton; her four grandchildren; three great-grandsons; and a sister, Alberta Lees.
