The Newton Masonic Lodge #59 presented the St. Nick’s Christmas Club with a $2,000 donation from the proceeds raised during its Christmas in July dinner fundraiser. The Grand Lodge of Iowa Charity Fund matched the gift to the St. Nick’s Christmas Club, which last year provided toys, clothing and food to 680 needy children and their families throughout Jasper County.
