Monday’s baseball and softball games postponed

Thunderstorms throughout Monday forced the majority of the area’s high schools to reschedule baseball and softball games. Most of the schools have announced make-up dates.

Newton’s baseball games at Knoxville will now be played on Thursday, June 27, while the softball team will now play there on June 29. Lynnville-Sully’s baseball game with Keota was moved to July 9. The Hawks’ softball team will now travel to Keota on July 5. Collins-Maxwell/Baxter’s baseball game with Greene County was moved to July 11. Finally, Prairie City-Monroe’s baseball game with Carlisle was moved to Thursday, June 27.
