Karen Dalke will present a program on “Anabaptist History and Thought” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 308 E. Second St. N. in Newton.

Dalke has been serving as pastor of the Des Moines Mennonite Church since graduating in May 2009 from the Hesston College Pastoral Ministry Program in Hesston, Kan. All are encouraged to join us as the church continues to grow in understanding of its Mennonite neighbors who “are committed to active love and service in the world and seek nonviolent alternatives in response to all conflict.” Light refreshments will be served.
