Sculptor Rick Stewart has been working on a diorama of a farm with a wind turbine for six months and has invested about 1,000 hours into making it. The diorama will be displayed at Jasper County Historical Museum once completed. In addition to making the models, he handpainted the background. Jasper County Museum Historical Society Director Audrey Rex said the museum will name the diorama “Winderful Tales.” The museum is closed today due to poor weather conditions, and the coffee time planned at the museum for Saturday has been canceled.
