• Jean E. Wood, 33, of Prairie City was taken into custody at the adult probation office on a warrant issued for a probation violation for a burglary charge at 4:14 p.m Wednesday. She was brought to the Jasper County Jail.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
