This week regular Wednesday evening free public community meal from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. will be served at the First Lutheran Church in Newton.
The southwest entrance will be open, and overflow parking available across the street behind First United Methodist Church. The menu is pasta e fagiolo soup, tossed salad, breadsticks and cookies.
