Hawk boys track win again at BGM Tuesday
The Lynnville-Sully boys track team put on a show at the Bear Trax Classic at BGM on Tuesday night. This continues a hot streak for the diversified Hawks team. They have impressed both on the track and in the field events this season, and this meet was no exception.
The Hawks finished first for the second year in a row as a team in Class B on a cold night at BGM.
““The guys ran, jumped, and threw really well tonight,” L-S coach Mike Parkinson said. “Our field events stepped up early in the day and scored us a lot of points, which led to the second L-S boys win at BGM’s Class B Bear Trax Classic. This is the Hawks’ second year in a row winning this track meet. It was a cold night and the times weren’t record setting, but we got the job done. Our guys performed really well and we stepped up when we needed to get the win.”
