Skiff undertakes chapel renovation

The past few years have witnessed many remodeling projects at Skiff Medical Center in pursuit of raising the comfort level and care of Skiff’s patients and their families. The latest renovation venture is taking place now at the Skiff Chapel.

Much like previous remodeling projects, donations from the community have ensured this long-desired goal has become a reality.

“Though beautiful in its own right in many different ways, the chapel was beginning to show its age,” Skiff Chaplain Larry Peterson said. “Because of the generosity of the people in the Newton community, we’re able to realize our dream of transforming Skiff’s chapel into a more restful and relaxing place for patients and their families to visit in times of spiritual need.”
