Pheasants Forever scholarship deadline set for March 15

Jasper County Pheasants Forever is offering a $500 scholarship to one area high school senior pursuing a career in natural resource conservation. 

Youth interested in applying may find an application at www.jaspercountyconservation.com under the education tab. Applications should be returned to Keri Van Zante, 1030 W. Second St. S., Newton, IA 50208, by March 15. 

Upon reviewing the scholarships, the scholarship committee may request selected applicants to complete a brief interview. Interviews will provide scholarship committee with a chance to learn more about the student and their future goals. For more information, contact Van Zante at (641)792-9780 or kvanzante@co.jasper.ia.us.
