Organizational meeting for new Iowa Korean Veterans Association chapter on March 9

The Iowa Korean Veterans Association P.O. Taylor Morris Chapter No. 322 will have an organizational meeting at 11 a.m. March 9 at the Gold Star Museum at Camp Dodge, 7105 NW 70th Ave. in Johnston.

Jodi Tymeson, executive director of the Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs will speak on “Services Provided to Veterans,” and Tom Stevens, national director of the Korean Veterans Association, will speak on “Services Provided to Veterans.”

A chapter business meeting will follow and include establishing the new chapter, recognizing Korean veterans, installation of officers for 2013-2014, a chance to meet other Korean veterans and discussion of available of benefits and trips to Washington, D.C., and Korea.
