If you like NASCAR and you’re looking for an opportunity to watch the sport’s biggest event with a few hundred of your closest friends — or just other NASCAR fans — the Iowa Speedway’s upscale Newton Club will be the place to be this Sunday.

Advance tickets for the speedway’s 7th Annual Daytona 500 Party are still on sale for $10 per person. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and multiple screens throughout the 10,000-square-foot clubhouse will begin showing the Fox Sports broadcast coverage of “The Great American Race” at noon.

Speedway officials said the 2013 edition of their Daytona 500 Party will offer those in attendance chances to win numerous door prizes, gift baskets, retailer gift cards and other merchandise.

“Our ‘Daytona 500 Party’ is a wintertime tradition for many Iowa Speedway fans,” Director of Ticketing Operations Jason Christofferson said. “For hundreds of our customers, it’s the launch of a new racing season, and we always have fun regardless of the weather in Newton.”

Tickets to the Daytona 500 Party may be purchased through the speedway’s website, www.iowaspeedway.com, or by calling the toll-free ticket office number, 1-866-RUSTY-GO (787-8946).
