Free lifetime pass a great ‘plus’ for Newton seniors
To the editor:
For several years, Newton Senior High School has been issuing a free lifetime senior citizen pass to any Newton Community School District resident older than 62.
It’s your invitation to come watch and enjoy students perform on the field, the court, and on stage.
I have found that many senior citizens are not aware of this nice “Red Pride” bonus that comes at absolutely no cost.
Merely stop by the NHS main office during school hours, pick up your personalized red card, and you’re in business.
Of special interest to many will be the production of “Fiddler on the Roof,” which will be at the NHS Center for Performance on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2. Just show your red card at the door and enjoy this fantastic musical performance by local talent.
Marvin Campbell and Harvey Olsthoorn have created colorful, Old World scenery. I have just had a sneak preview of their great artistic talents, which are almost unbelievable.
So, senior citizens who do not currently have a complimentary NHS Activity Pass, hustle out this week and pick one up at the high school office. You will be glad you did.
