Jason James, 32, of Newton died on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at his home in Newton.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home.  Memorials in Jason’s name to be made out to Tina Cupples and left at the funeral home.

Jason, the son of Randy and Gloria (Bricker) James, was born on March 10, 1980, in Grinnell, Iowa. He graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1999 and took college classes toward an electrical degree.  Jason most recently worked for Commonwealth Electric Company at TPI in Newton. He enjoyed fishing, working out, and spending time with his son.
