A retirement reception for Jasper County Sheriff Mike Balmer is set for 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Jasper County Community Center.
Sheriff Balmer has served the citizens of Jasper County for 38 years. The public is encouraged to come and wish him the best in his retirement.
