‘Cicoff the Jester’ to perform at Foursquare Church this Sunday

“Cicoff the Jester,” portrayed by St. Louis resident Christoph Zurcher, will perform at the Newton Foursquare Church during the morning worship service at 9:45 a.m. Sunday at the church, located at 1510 S. Eighth Ave. E. in Newton.

Zurcher uses a unique style of communication to entertain, amuse and illustrate Biblical messages. Like jesters of the Middle Ages, he combines humor with sincerity and wit as well as folly to emphasize points and communicate his messages. While mesmerizing and stunning his audience with his artistry and skill, he uses the tools of physical theater, storytelling, juggling and comedy to support his compelling and powerful messages.

Zurcher was born in Harrisburg, Pa., and raised in Switzerland. He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, an associate’sdegree of arts in Biblical studies and is a license International Church of the Foursquare Gospel minister. He has performedin churches, schools, conferences and other venues for the past 12 years throughout the United States and Europe. The publicis encouraged to attend Cicoff ‘s performance.
